MERCER COUNTY, Pa. — State police in Mercer County said a man failed to stop at an intersection along state Route 58 and hit a house on Saturday, causing severe damage to the home.

Police charged James J. Ford III, 33, of Mercer, with drunken driving. Police said he was driving west on District Road and did not stop when he reached the intersection with Route 58 in Delaware Township.
