• Man killed in violent head-on crash ID'd

    RENFREW, Pa. - Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal head-on crash Monday morning in Renfrew.

    Authorities said the crash was reported just before 11 a.m. on Route 68 near Connoquenessing Elementary School.

    According to the police report, Justin Enslen was driving a car when he crossed over the center line and struck Mark Bishop’s car head-on.

    Bishop, 52, died in the accident and a passenger in his car, 41-year-old Holly Merkner, suffered minor injuries, officials said. Enslen, 25, suffered moderate injuries.

    Part of Route 68 was closed while crews cleared the accident scene and investigated.
