• Family safely escapes Cranberry Twp. blaze

    CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa.,None - A family was able to safely escape their Cranberry Township home Sunday morning after a fire broke out in their basement.

    Officials said the blaze started around 4:45 a.m. at the house on Franklin Road.

    Firefighters were able to contain the flames to the basement and there was no visible damage done to the exterior of the house, crews said.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation.
