PITTSBURGH — Mother Nature is throwing a curve ball. Warmer temperatures sparked some early spring color, but tender plants and crops could be in jeopardy early Thursday.
Temperatures will dip below freezing for the entire area, prompting a FREEZE WARNING from the National Weather Service.
It will be so cold that we could, in fact, have a new record low temperature. Cover plants to protect them and plan for another cold start Friday.
Plenty of sunshine will help slowly warm us up, with highs in the mid-50s Thursday and back near 60 as we head into the weekend.
