• Frost warning issued for early Saturday morning

    PITTSBURGH - The National Weather Service has issued a brief frost warning for much of the Channel 11 viewing area to start the Memorial Day weekend.

    The frost warning is in effect for the Pittsburgh area and southwestern counties from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday. Temperatures will range from 30 to 34 degrees, and outdoor plants could be damaged.

    Temperatures are expected to rise Saturday afternoon and Sunday, with highs in the 60s and low 70s.
