Giant Eagle in Pine Township offers curbside pickup service to customers

PINE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Giant Eagle customers in the North Hills now have the luxury of completing their grocery shopping without having to get out of their cars.

The Pine Township store unveiled its curbside pickup service this week.

The service allows shoppers to create their shopping list online and have a personal shopper gather the requested items. Customers can then come to the store, where their grocery items can be delivered to and paid for from their car.

Pickup can be scheduled anytime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., seven days a week. Product prices are the same as they are on store shelves, but there is a fee of $4.95.

This is the second local store to offer the service. The Market District in Robinson Township debuted its curbside pickup program in April.
