SAXONBURG, Pa. — Heightened security measures are being implemented in the South Butler County School District after officials learned of a bomb threat over the weekend.

The unsubstantiated threat against the Knoch High School/Middle School complex was posted on social media, according to a district school safety message.
A K-9 search was conducted by the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office, as well as by district administration and school police. The campus was secured and officials determined that it was safe for students and staff.
