• Fast-moving storm dumps several inches of snow on Pittsburgh area

PITTSBURGH - A fast-moving snow storm dumped several inches of snow on the Channel 11 viewing area Sunday.

Many accidents were reported in multiple areas. Channel 11’s Brandon Hudson reported that a tractor-trailer overturned near the Interstate 79/Interstate 279 split Sunday afternoon.

State police said no injuries were reported.

It was not immediately clear if the weather was to blame.

Severe Weather Team meteorologist Kevin Benson said many areas saw snow totals between 2 to 3 inches, while areas to the north saw up to 4 inches.

Benson said Monday will start with morning flurries with temps only reaching 20 degrees. The low will be about 5 degrees.
