High-speed police chase in Uniontown ends with arrest

UNIONTOWN, Pa. — Police arrested a man Thursday night after a high-speed chase in Fayette County.

Authorities said the chase started when police were serving a warrant at a house in Uniontown.

According to police, the suspect got into a car and took off. Police said the suspect, whose name has not been released, threw drugs out of his car throughout the chase.

Officials said the officers chased the suspect along Route 857 before he ditched the car in a yard and was apprehended moments later.

Police said the man was arrested, but have not released any other information.
