How to help the victims of Oklahoma tornado

PITTSBURGH — As the victims of Monday’s devastating tornado that swept through Moore, Okla., begin to recover, there are many different ways you can help them.

Several organizations, including the American Red Cross, are making it possible for people across the country to help with the disaster response.

“Right now our primary concern is providing for people’s immediate needs after this devastating disaster,” American Red Cross official Lauren Ashley said.

Ashley said locally, emergency response units with the Western Pennsylvania chapter of the American Red Cross remain on standby in case they’re needed in Oklahoma later this week.
