Severe Weather Team meteorologist Scott Harbaugh said Monday’s storms will move into the area in the afternoon hours. The likelihood of rain increases between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Harbaugh said.

“The storms don’t look severe at this time, but any storm can bring in heavier downpours and gusty winds with thunder and lightning,” Harbaugh said.

The storms will be more widespread into the midweek and the timing of the storms each day is still in question.

Temperatures remain in the 80s this week, with many of the days about 5 to 10 degrees above seasonal averages.
