• Icy conditions cause firefighters problems battling Beaver Co. house fire

    NEW SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Ice caused firefighters to have trouble battling flames at a Beaver County home Wednesday night.

    Authorities said the blaze was reported at a home on McElhaney Road in New Sewickley Township.

    Despite firefighters having trouble getting to the home because of icy conditions, everyone inside got out safely. There are no reports of any injuries.

    The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
