Inclusive games held in Pittsburgh for children with special needs

PITTSBURGH — The Inclusive Games were held at St. Anthony School in Pittsburgh Tuesday.

St. Anthony's is a Catholic based school for students, kindergarten through age 21, with autism, Down syndrome and other disabilities.

Students there were paired against same-age general education peers to compete in fun events.

Events included a softball throw, soccer kick and long jump.

The Inclusive Games promoted physical fitness, camaraderie, teamwork, good sportsmanship and school spirit.
