Indiana County man sentenced for death of girlfriend's son

INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. — An Indiana County man will spend up to 10 years in prison for killing his girlfriend's toddler.

Shawn Anderson-Holmes pleaded "no contest" late last year in the beating death of Colby Jozefzcyk.  A judge sentenced Anderson-Holmes to 27 months to 10 years in prison.

State police said the 17-month-old boy died last March in his mother's Saltsburg apartment at the hands of Anderson-Holmes.

The boy's mother, Kayla Lyons, is awaiting trial on charges of assault and endangering the welfare of children.
