Second person of interest in string of fire-related incidents near IUP questioned

INDIANA, Pa. — Police arrested a second person of interest on Friday in a series of fire-related incidents near the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus.

Indiana police executed a search warrant for Paul Joseph Indrihovic at his home but are not commenting on what they were after.

Police said Indrihovic was taken into custody and is in Indiana County jail, being questioned about a number of unsolved building and car fires.

Indrihovic faces multiple charges related to a number of those fire-related incidents.

According to officials, the latest incident occurred Thursday night before midnight when students living in the Essex House at the Carriage House Apartments evacuated after someone poured gasoline in the building’s stairwells. This evacuation was the third in three days.
