Low-cost carrier doubles down on Pittsburgh with another new and returning flight offering

A low-cost airline carrier that serves Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) announced it is adding yet another new flight offering and plans to restart a seasonal one it had available in the past.

Following its service expansion announcement at PIT last month, Salt Lake City, Utah-based Breeze Airways is disclosing another set of flights that will touchdown and take off at the region’s largest airport in the coming months.

Beginning on March 31, Breeze will begin offering nonstop flights on Fridays and Mondays to John Wayne Airport-Orange County (SNA) in the Greater Los Angeles area. It’s a new flight offering from Breeze and will be one of two nonstop flight offerings between Pittsburgh and Los Angeles upon its start next year; Spirt Airlines is the sole carrier that currently offers a daily nonstop flight between PIT and Los Angeles, which connects Los Angeles International Airport with Pittsburgh, according to PIT’s December 2022 nonstop destinations list.
