Man, 25, in serious condition after shooting at jitney station

BELTZHOOVER, Pa. — Authorities are investigating after a 25-year-old man was shot at a jitney station in Beltzhoover late Monday night.

According to police, the victim was shot around 11:45 p.m. in the area of Bernd Way and Michigan and Chalfont streets.

The victim told detectives he got into an argument with someone before the shooting. He was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital in serious condition.

Channel 11's Brandon Hudson has confirmed that the victim was also shot about two weeks ago on Climax Street in Beltzhoover.

So far, no arrests have been made and police haven’t released any information about potential suspects.
