Man accused of raping 14-year-old girl at gunpoint

AVALON, Pa. — An Avalon man accused of raping a 14-year-old girl at gunpoint last week was arrested Wednesday.

According to police, the alleged assault happened outside the Avalon Elementary School.

Investigators said the girl met 18-year-old Dhaque Jones at the school to sell him an iPod, a wallet and a camera.

Police said instead of purchasing the items, Jones raped the girl. He remains jailed on $500,000 bond.
