Man accused of raping woman inside Duquesne University dorm room

PITTSBURGH — A man is accused of raping a woman inside his dorm room at Duquesne University.

Souleymane Tigana, 23, faces charges of rape, sex assault and indecent assault.

According to the criminal complaint, a woman told police that she met Tigana while celebrating her birthday on the South Side.  She said the two exchanged numbers and met up the next day.

The alleged rape happened inside the Towers dormitory.

Duquesne University sent an email out to its students after officials learned of the allegations.
