Man accused of sexually assaulting another recovery center resident

INDIANA, Pa. — A resident of an Indiana Township recovery center was arrested Thursday after police said he improperly touched another man Wednesday night.

According to police, Christopher Vojt, 48, is accused of improperly touching another man inside Teen Challenge, a place where men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction go to get their lives back on track.

Authorities said Vojt went into a classroom where the alleged victim was alone, pushed him onto a desk and sexually assaulted him.

The alleged victim told investigators that he “blacked out and began to have flashbacks of being molested as a child.”

The police report said Vojt heard a staff member in the hallway and left the classroom.

A manager at Teen Challenge told Channel 11’s Jodine Costanzo that he was unable to comment on the investigation.

Vojt is facing indecent assault charges. His bond is set at $75,000.
