• Man accused of beating 6-year-old who wet bed


    GRAPEVILLE, Pa. - A man is facing several charges after police said he beat a 6-year-old who wet the bed.

    Barry Woods is accused of injuring the boy at a Grapeville home earlier this month.

    The boy told police he urinated in his bed and Woods began punching him.

    The boy also told police that Woods made him take a cold shower/bath.  The boy’s body temperature was 93.8 degrees when he arrived at the hospital, police said.

    The boy told police Woods starting hurting him when he was 5 years old.

    Woods is charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children.
