Man burglarizes home in Plum Borough, hits homeowner with SUV

PLUM BOROUGH, Pa. — Police are looking for a man who burglarized a home in Plum Borough, then hit the homeowner with his vehicle.

The incident happened Friday morning at a home on Grove Crest Drive.

According to authorities, a woman came home and noticed an SUV in her driveway. A man then ran out of the house and got into the vehicle, striking the woman as he drove away.

The burglar is described as a thin, clean-shaven white man between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet in height. He was wearing a baseball cap.

Investigators said he was driving a white, 2012 GMC Acadia with Pennsylvania license plate number ELB-9475. The vehicle had been reported stolen on Feb. 10.
