• Man found dead in Wilkinsburg; autopsy planned

    WILKINSBURG, Pa. - A shooting in Wilkinsburg killed a man and injured another person, authorities reported Sunday.

    Kevin Gibson, 21, of Wilkinsburg was found shot in a vehicle about 7:15 p.m. Saturday near Hill and Hay streets, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office. Doctors pronounced him dead 30 minutes later at UPMC Presbyterian, Oakland

    Gibson and another person were reported shot, according to an Allegheny County dispatch supervisor. Forensic investigators would not release more information pending an autopsy. County and Wilkinsburg police could not be reached for further details.
