Man hit, killed by vehicle in Washington Twp.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Butler County man was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Washington Township Friday night.

The accident happened on Oneida Valley Road shortly before 10:30 p.m.

Police said the driver of a Toyota Sienna was traveling southbound on the roadway and entered the northbound lane while passing another vehicle in a proper passing area.

Cody Wiles, 21, of North Washington, was struck as he walked along the northbound lane.

Wiles was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating.
