Arrest made in shooting death of man at Rankin housing complex

PITTSBURGH — An arrest has been made in the shooting death of a man in Rankin, police said Saturday.

Authorities said Jake Knight, 19, has been charged with homicide, conspiracy, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering other people, and firearms violations in the death of Lee Williams.

Williams, 46, of Braddock, was shot to death Thursday night in the Hawkins Village housing complex.

Police believe several men went into an apartment in a robbery attempt. Williams was shot in the chest.
