Man shot during home invasion in Troy Hill

PITTSBURGH — A man was shot during an early Saturday morning robbery in Troy Hill.

Police said the victim was beaten and shot in the chest after two men wearing ski masks entered his home on Eggers Street. The men demanded money before fleeing the scene.

The 32-year-old man called 911 to report his injury. He was then taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He was last reported in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
