• Man removing deer from roadway struck, killed by car in Unity Twp.

    UNITY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A Westmoreland County man was killed while trying to remove a deer from a Unity Township road Friday night.

    James Armstrong, 65, died after a car struck him near the intersection of Frye Farm and East High Acres roads.

    No charges have been filed in the accident.
