• Mercer County family safe after flames engulf home

    HERMITAGE, Pa. - A family in Mercer County is safe after escaping a house fire Friday night.

    The fire broke out around 11 p.m. along Boyd Drive in Hermitage.

    According to 911 dispatchers, flames engulfed the home before the fire was brought under control.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation.
