Mom: Daughter got concussion after being attacked while trick-or-treating in West View

WEST VIEW, Pa. — A mother is upset after she said a Halloween brawl landed her oldest daughter in the hospital with a concussion.

"Words are words, but when you get to putting your hands on people's kids, that's just wrong," said mother Larita Turner.

Turner's 17-year-old daughter is recovering from a swollen forehead, cuts and bruises she said she got while trick-or-treating with her sister and brother on Thursday.

Turner said her children were at a house in West View when a girl yelled for her kids to get off the front porch.

"I got off.  She asked if I wanted to fight, so we started fighting," said Turner's daughter.

According to Turner, the girl's aunt and older brother jumped in on the fight.

"I blacked out for like three seconds, and the 20-year-old was on top of me, punching me in the head," said Turner's daughter.

Channel 11 visited the house, where the alleged incident happened.  A woman there said she and her nephew were innocent.
