PITTSBURGH — After a month-long investigation, authorities arrested three people and seized more than $43,000 in drugs Thursday morning in Brookline.

Narcotics officers and members of the SWAT team executed a search warrant Thursday just before 9 a.m. at a house on Winterhill Street.

The raid resulted in the arrest of Robert Agurs, 24, Demetrius Williams, 21, and Jennifer Jenkins, 25, according to police.

Authorities said narcotic detectives seized four ounces of heroin valued at $36,000, 14 bricks of heroin valued at $7,000 and two ounces of marijuana valued at $600. Police also seized a .40-caliber handgun.

Investigators said several complaints of illegal drug activity led to their investigation.

Agurs, Williams and Jenkins were taken to the Allegheny County Jail without incident. They’re all facing possession of narcotics, possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy charges. Williams and Agurs are also charged with persons not to possess a firearm.
