• Motorcycle passenger killed in Fayette Co. crash


    HENRY CLAY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A passenger on a motorcycle died Friday evening after being involved in a crash with another vehicle in Fayette County, police said.

    The accident happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Bruceton Road in Henry Clay Township.

    State police said a 2008 Chevrolet Express van owned by RJT Trucking, Inc., was traveling south on Bruceton Road when it crossed into the northbound lane of traffic, striking a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

    The driver and passenger on the Harley Davidson were both thrown from the motorcycle, police said. They were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia.

    The passenger on the motorcycle, Kelly Oberdick-Palmer, 55, of Glenville, York County, was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
