Multiple cars stolen at New Kensington Sheetz in past month

A car was stolen from the parking lot at the Sheetz in New Kensington on Wednesday night.

This marks the fifth car taken from the same parking lot in just one month. All of the stolen cars had one thing in common: they were left running and unlocked at the time of the theft.

Pittsburgh Police Officers found the most recent car car nearby five hours later.

Since the beginning of the thefts, New Kensington Police Chief has been urging people to turn off their cars and lock the doors when they exit.
