New Castle woman accused of stealing, selling jewelry from Neshannock couple

NESHANNOCK, Pa. — A New Castle caregiver is accused of stealing then selling jewelry from a Neshannock couple she was taking care of.

According to police, Michele Topolosky, 28, is accused of stealing two rings that the couple reported missing from their home on Decker Drive.

Authorities said Topolosky sold the rings at a local gold exchange within the past two months.

Investigators said they began looking into Topolosky when the couple reported money, jewelry and a gun missing from their home, which Topolosky had access to.

Topolosky is facing two counts of criminal trespassing, defiant trespassing and receiving stolen property.
