Officers arrest suspect accused of exposing self at 2 South Hills tanning salons

BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. — Police arrested a man Wednesday accused of exposing himself at two South Hills tanning salons.

According to the criminal complaint, Heath Piper walked into Sun Club in the Great Southern Shopping Center in Bridgeville on Oct. 6 and asked for a tour. The complaint said when he got to the counter, he asked for tanning lotion and exposed himself to the clerk.

According to police, the worker told detectives Piper tried to shake her hand and then walked out as if nothing happened.

Collier Township police said Piper entered the same salon Tuesday with the same intention but stopped short because a few guys from GNC came in.

The complaint said Hollywood Tan, which is about a mile away, said they had Piper on surveillance camera inside their salon doing the same thing.

Piper told Channel 11’s Brandon Hudson that he didn’t expose himself.

“Everything in that complaint is ridiculous,” Piper said.

The owner of Sun Club said she installed surveillance cameras inside to make sure nothing like this happens again.
