• One person taken to hospital after crashing into creek in Pittsburgh

    PITTSBURGH - One person was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital after crashing into a creek in Pittsburgh on Saturday.

    Police said the accident happened at Library Road and Saw Mill Run Boulevard early Saturday morning.

    The car went through a fence and into a creek, according to authorities.

    Emergency crews had to rescue the driver from the vehicle.

    Police have given no word on the cause of the accident, and the victim’s name has not been released.
