STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) (AP)ong> - A Penn State freshman running back has been charged by campus police with breaking a window in a dormitory.

According to police, Akeel Lynch, 18, was charged Friday with criminal mischief for breaking the window in Shulze Hall on Nov. 16 when he allegedly kicked it.

A school spokesman wouldn’t say whether Lynch has already been disciplined by the team for the incident or whether he may face future discipline.

Lynch faces a preliminary hearing March 27.

He did not play in any games this past season. The incident happened the night before the team's home game against Indiana.
