Pennsylvania State Police, EMS respond to incident in East Pittsburgh

EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Officials confirmed to Channel 11 that Pennsylvania State Police and EMS units responded to an incident in East Pittsburgh.

According to Allegheny County 911, the call came in at 2:14 p.m. for the incident in the 400 block of Bessemer Avenue.

Pennsylvania State Police said they got the call around 2:25 p.m. Police said an individual had a medical episode which resulted in the individual discharging a firearm. There are no victims with injuries at this time. The individual was treated and evaluated at a local hospital.
