• Pipe work to close section of Route 19 in Cranberry

    CRANBERRY, Pa. - A Butler County road project will close a portion of Route 19 overnight Tuesday and Wednesday, PennDOT officials said.

    A nighttime detour will be in place on Route 19 southbound between Freedom Road and St. Francis Way on Tuesday. On Wednesday, a detour will be in place between the same roads on the northbound side. The detours will be in place both nights from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. to replace a pipe across Route 19.

    The closures are part of the $3.6 million Route 19/Freedom Road /Route 228 Intersection improvement project in Cranberry.
