Pittsburgh Skyline lit up to root for Pitt Football player nominated for Heisman Trophy

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Skyline was extra bright on Friday night as the UPMC building was lit up with a light show for a University of Pittsburgh Football player that was nominated for Heisman Trophy.

Playing quarterback at an elite level all season for the nationally ranked Pitt Panthers, Kenny Pickett has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all 12 of Pitt’s games and ranks second nationally with 40 TD passes while throwing just seven interceptions.

Pickett is the first quarterback in ACC history to have 4,000 yards passing and 40 touchdowns in the first 12 games of a season.
