Police announce break in the shooting death of teenager; Aunt talks to Channel 11

MUNHALL, Pa. — It has been nearly a month since the shooting death of Trijuan Williams at a Munhall home, and police said now there's a break in the case.

Channel 11 was at police headwaters when detectives took Terron Brown, 19, to jail, where he will join Corey Palmer, 19, already jailed on another matter.

"He was everything to me.  He was my nephew but he was also my son," said Williams' aunt, Valetta Hosey.

Hosey was overcome with emotion when she heard the news.

"I'm relieved that my family can get closure. Maybe we can move on, but it's hard," she said.

Police said they are still searching for Marquille Wright, 18 and Deondre Broadus, 19.

Police said the four teens had guns drawn on the night of April 21 when they silently crept up on Williams as he sat inside his aunt's house.  Standing outside a window they opened fire, shooting 15 rounds at the teenager as he walked into the kitchen, police said.

Hosey said she raised Williams.

"My life has changed dramatically.  It will never be the same," she said.
