BRIDGEWATER, Pa. (AP) — Police have identified a body found in the Beaver River, and said it is that of a missing Fallston man.

Bridgewater police Chief Doug Adams said officers responded to a report of a floating body about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Beaver County Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi identified the body as 58-year-old James DeMaria. He was reported missing by his family about two hours after the body was found. It's unclear how DeMaria ended up in the water.
