• Police: Duo accused of burglarizing O'Hara Twp. home arrested

O'HARA TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police arrested two burglary suspects Monday night in O’Hara Township who authorities believe may be linked to multiple break-ins.

Officials said 18-year-old Matthew Reitz and 24-year-old John Cuevas are accused of stealing jewelry, sports memorabilia and $30,000 in cash from a safe inside a home on Midway Drive Monday night.

According to the criminal complaint, police arrested the duo near the home. They were taken to jail and are being held on $50,000 bond.

While in custody, Reitz reportedly admitted he broke into two of his neighbors’ homes in December and early February, the complaint said.

In the other burglaries, guns, collectibles and jewelry were stolen, police said.

Reitz is charged with three break-ins and Cuevas with one, authorities said.
