Police: Infatuated student harasses Ellwood City teacher

ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. (AP) — Police have cited a 15-year-old boy with harassing a 26-year-old female teacher at his western Pennsylvania high school.

The Beaver County Times reports Thursday that the Elwood City patrolman who filed the citation reported he had "never seen a student that was so infatuated with a teacher."

Police say the student made lewd remarks about the teacher, commenting on her hairstyle, figure and, at one point, referenced a contraceptive device. They say the boy tracked the teacher's schedule so he could confront her between classes in hallways and classrooms for weeks and became angry when she threatened to report him.

Authorities aren't identifying the boy because of his age.

Ellwood City Area School District Superintendent Frank Aloi has declined to comment except to say the matter has been resolved.
