Police investigating 2 armed robberies related to Craigslist

BELLEVUE, Pa. — Bellevue police are investigating two armed robberies related to Craigslist that happened Friday.

In the first robbery, a victim was attempting to sell a PlayStation 4 and arranged to meet who he or she believed to be a buyer at the CVS Pharmacy parking lot, police said.

The buyer never showed.  According to police, the victim was going back home when two men appeared out of nowhere, threatened the victim with a gun and told the victim to drop the bag.

Another victim arranged a meeting at his or her home.  Police said in the second robbery, the victim was ordered to drop the bag, and one of the robbers had a gun.

"You just need to be careful on Craigslist.  If it doesn't feel right, go with your instinct and don't meet.  Meet in a public place like a restaurant or don't do it.  Don't invite people in your home," police said.

If you have any information, you're asked to call police.
