• Police: Knoxville man used cash, Xbox to bribe young boys to perform sex acts

PITTSBURGH - A Knoxville man is facing multiple charges after police said he had sex with three boys under the age of 16 and used money and video games to bribe them.

According to investigators, Michael McCoy Seaman, 40, paid the victims anywhere between $1 and $100 to perform sexual acts on him. Police said sometimes Seaman would "pay" the boys with Xbox video game consoles if they allowed him to photograph them naked or while having sex.

Officers said the alleged abuse happened at a home on Bausman Street.

Detectives said they began investigating the case on Oct. 10 after one victim's mother spoke with Seaman and he indicated that he was going to get in trouble for "touching two young boys."

The woman later learned that her son was a victim and went to police.

Parents on Seaman's street told Channel 11 News that they suspected something for awhile.

"To see the kids going in and out of there like that, something wasn't right," Rhonda Brookins said.

Others, however, said that the allegations are unbelievable.

"He's a really nice guy as far as I know," one acquaintance said. "I see him all the time. My mother lives right down the street. ... He says hi to me all the time, I didn't suspect anything was going on."

Seaman is charged with 15 crimes, including corruption of minors, sexual abuse of children and indecent assault.
