Police looking for man who robbed East Carson Street gas station

PITTSBURGH — Authorities are investigating a robbery at a gas station early Wednesday morning on East Carson Street in Station Square.

Investigators said a man in a mask went into the Exxon station about 5:30 a.m. and demanded money.

According to police, the man held his right arm behind his back so it would appear he had a weapon. However, no gun was ever shown.

Officials said the clerk opened the cash drawer, and the robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact police.
