• Teacher accused of inappropriate contact with 15-year-old student

PITTSBURGH - A Perry High School teacher accused of having inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old student is expected to turn himself in to police after an arrest warrant was issued Thursday.

Michael White, a teacher who was hired last summer to teach career education classes, is under investigation by police.

According to authorities, the alleged victim told police she liked White at first, but he started to “want too much.”

The girl told detectives that he bragged about his houses, money and cars, and he wanted her to come to his house.

Investigators said the girl told them he grabbed her buttocks and breasts about 10 times, but never underneath her clothing.

Authorities said they began investigating White, 29, a few months ago, but charged him with indecent assault Thursday.
