Police look for truck driver accused in hit-and-run on Route 8 in Butler Co.

PENN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are looking for a truck driver accused of crashing into a car on Route 8 in Butler County and driving away.

Authorities said the driver of a tri-axel truck swerved and hit a Honda Accord just before 6 a.m. in Penn Township.

According to police, the driver said the truck driver pulled off the road, looked at the damage and drove away.

Investigators said the truck is light blue with damage to the passenger side.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
