Raid nets 400 grams of pot, $9K in gift cards, $700 cash

BUTLER, Pa. — Police arrested a Butler City couple accused of dealing drugs out of their home for almost a year.

Authorities said the Butler County Drug Task Force raided Robert and Emide Henry’s Negley Avenue home earlier this week and found more than 400 grams of marijuana, almost $700 in cash and $9,000 worth of gift cards.

According to police paperwork, Robert Henry, who has seven children, admitted to police that he has been selling marijuana out of the house. Officer said he told them he usually has two pounds of pot on him at all times.

According to the criminal complaint, Emide Henry told detectives that she knew what her husband was doing and that it’s been going on for eight to 12 months.

Police have not said what charges the Henrys face.
