Police release clear surveillance photo of armed robber

SOUTH STRABANE, Pa. — Police have released clear surveillance video of an armed robbery at a Washington County convenience store.

Authorities said the suspect walked into the BP on Racetrack Road in South Strabane Township just before 4 a.m., pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

According to police, the man made off with an undetermined amount of cash and two cartons of cigarettes.

Investigators said the suspect fled the scene in a white van. Officers reported pulling over several vans matching the description on Monday, but no arrests were made.
